Breanna Urquhart was raised in Lake Hawea, Aotearoa (New Zealand). In 2009, she embarked on a career in Architecture, starting with a Master of Architecture (Professional) from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris and Victoria University of Wellington, graduating in 2015.

Over the last decade Breanna has built a truly global portfolio, leading award-winning projects as an Associate for multidisciplinary studio Snarkitecture in New York City and, more recently, as Associate Director at Knight Associates in Auckland, New Zealand.

Prior to these leadership roles, she worked with internationally renowned firms including Sir Peter Cook of ARCHIGRAM, Yael Reisner Studio, and Warren & Mahoney Architects. Additionally she practiced metal fabrication working with FACE Design & Fabrication upon first moving to New York.

During this time she has gained extensive expertise across luxury residential, retail, historic restoration, master planning, hospitality, and cultural projects - all while building an invaluable network of consultants, builders, and makers with whom she continues to collaborate with.

In April 2024, she relocated to Los Angeles to expand her practice and now delivers projects independently around the world.
